Snowdrops from a Neighbour

This painting shows a pot of spring snowdrops gifted from a neighbour. I look forward to planting them in the gardens and dividing them each year. Their cheerful white droplet-like flowers bring such joy in the early spring.

This is an original painting study. Even if you’ve just got a small corner of wall, there are a number of little gems to choose from!

I love studies for the life and energy they capture! They show the thought process of the artist and have an intimacy and immediacy to them that finished studio work sometimes doesn’t. They are also a very affordable way to collect original works of art!
