Kitchen Life
Our kitchens are so often filled with things – utensils, jars, pots, coffee makers, cookie tins… This shows a quiet moment after tidying up the lunch dishes. I was struck by the contrasting shapes and dots of colour of all of the little objects, the bright spots of window light on the chromes and metallics, and the quietness of the grey shadows filling the spaces in between.
This is an original painting study. Even if you’ve just got a small corner of wall, there are a number of little gems to choose from!
Details
Gouache on tan-coloured paper, 6.75” x 4.25”
Titled and signed in pencil by the artist below the work.
Custom matted in a white mat and ready-to-frame in a standard 8x10” frame.
I love studies for the life and energy they capture! They show the thought process of the artist and have an intimacy and immediacy to them that finished studio work sometimes doesn’t. They are also a very affordable way to collect original works of art!
Wouldn’t you love this little one-of-a-kind painting?
