Montréal Laneway in the Snow

$125.00

While out for a winter walk on a crisp, clear day, I couldn’t help but notice the sunlight peeking between rooftops to cast sunspots down the length of the snowy laneway behind our house in the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood.

I was stopped in my tracks as I looked down the lane seeing the play of warm sunlight against cool shadows... and the tail lights of that truck parked in the deepest shadow.

Details

Gouache on watercolour paper, 5.75” x 8.75”

Custom matted in a white mat and ready-to-frame in a standard 9x12” frame.

Newly released the studio vault, this painting has never been available for sale. It’s time for it to go to a good home and be enjoyed every day instead of kept tucked away in my portfolio.
